UN Women publication
UN Women publication 2022 on progress on the SDGs and the interlinkages with gender / women/ SDG5.
Please read the report: especially page 12 on women and water issues. Important to note for our work as women for water, is that there is still no real indicator on gender <> water and sanitation, despite the work UN Water / IMI is doing on this. The situation has deteriorated again! It also means our efforts to connect SDG4, SDG5 and SDG6 are still extremely needed and valuable. With the upcoming 2023 UN Water Conference we need to enhance our efforts once again and hold everybody accountable on policies written, commitments made and implementation lagging behind.
